Take a deep breath in and feel into the sensation of calm. Feel this sense of calm begin to expand, to fill through your entire body.
Feel this growing, expanding sense of calm envelope your entire being.
And then notice how this feeling begins to extend beyond the confines of your body. It begins to fill the space around you, surrounding you in this orb of calm, of comfort, of peace.
Allow this feeling to continue to grow, to expand as far & as wide as you can imagine.
See yourself surrounded by this aura of calm. Know that this feeling is seeping deep into your awareness, supporting you, filling up your reserves.
Allow yourself to be in this aura of calm as long as you need.
Practice 2
Find a comfortable seat or standing position with your feet on the ground. Get outdoors, if possible.
Feel your feet in your shoes. Maybe lift your toes and place them back down.
Feel the ground beneath you. What is the texture? Is it bumpy? Is it smooth? Is it even? What is the temperature? Is it cool? Is it warming? What is the nature of the ground?
Begin to feel your feet rooting into the ground. Begin to imagine a line of energy seeping from your feet into the ground. Feel the ground receptive, taking any excess energy that isn’t supporting you right now. And feel the ground offering back to you a feeling of connection, a sense of foundation, a feeling of support.
Be with this exchange of energy as long as you need.
Practice 3
Find a comfortable seat. Try to be upright with feet on the ground.
Bring your hands to your lower ribcage. As you breath in, feel the ribcage begin to expand.
As you exhale, feel the torso soften.

As you exhale, feel the ribcage descend, the torso release.
Breath in deeply, expanding the ribcage in all directions.
As you exhale, feel the torso relax.
Continue to breath in this way for a few cycles of breath.
