In a Moment - Issue 14

With the fall of fall this past weekend (aka daylight savings), I've been a little sleepier. A little cozier. A little rounder. And there's nothing wrong with that, except when I need to do things besides cuddle up in blankets and pups.

I find one of my favorite practices to wake up is to shake it up. I have a single song dance party.
Either I scroll through a playlist to find a song that feels just right. Or I hit the button on shuffle to see what random song will appear.

And I dance. And this dance is for me.

Sometimes it's a way to feel how I feel.

Sometimes it’s a way to feel how my body feels.

Sometimes it's a way to energize.

Sometimes it's a way to stretch.

Sometimes it's a way to strengthen.

Sometimes it's a way to celebrate.

Sometimes it's a way to shed.

Sometimes it's just dancing. Full body, sweaty, head-shaking, eyes-closed, heart-filled movement.

So on this lazy, possibly sleepy, maybe overwhelming, or could be just-fine Thursday, give yourself a little dance party.
